Rosters
School rosters on the online performance evaluation system, the Employee Development and Feedback System (EDFS), are still being updated daily through PeopleSoft.
Who gets evaluated?
You will be evaluating all licensed educators only – this includes teachers, speech/language pathologists, special education teachers, specialty teachers, & nurses. There is a Specialized Instructional Support Personnel (also called “caseload”) rubric from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that we will use with them. Eventually, this rubric will be customized to different work groups but you can begin using it now as is. These non-classroom educators have been invited to training either at schools, the BTU, at district PD sessions and they can review the system on our website or attend a regional training.
Occupational therapists, physical therapists & paraprofessionals will NOT be evaluated under this new system and will be removed from the rosters in the upcoming days. At this point, you should be concentrating on starting plans for licensed educators at your school.

Goal-setting support
The Office of Educator Effectiveness has planned several regional trainings throughout the month of September in all neighborhoods of Boston. These workshops will include focused work on goal setting, and principals should encourage teachers to attend in teams. A list of regional trainings is found here: http://educatoreffectiveness.weebly.com/regional-workshops.html.
