Evaluator Training
Throughout the year, we will offer trainings for additional evaluators, or individuals who have missed previous trainings. In order to evaluate educators in the BPS, one must attend a BPS training for evaluators. Additional requirements for teachers selected and interested in becoming evaluators will be posted in coming days.

Connecting the Rubric to Specialized Roles
chart below shows the alignment of various DESE rubrics with specialized BTU roles. The position-specific language contained in each Superintendent’s Circular allows one to “unpack” the language of the elements listed in the far right column. Educators in these roles must still receive a rating in each of the four standards of Effective Teaching Practice. Please check back in coming days for updates to this document that show clearer alignment to the DESE rubrics.
